Report says Paula Abdul will “issue some interpretive apology babble” soon
After the results of the American Idol 2 investigation are released, Paula Abdul will “bring forth a statement,” The New York Post’s Cindy Adams says. But don’t expect dirty details about banging Corey Clark on a pianola or anything.
Cindy Adams reports that this will be “some interpretive apology babble. It’ll acknowledge nothing. It’ll say nothing. You’ll make out of it what you will.” In quite possibly the most awkwardly written sentence to ever appear in the New York Post’s gossip pages, Adams offers her interpretation of what the statement might contain: “Say, for instance, something in the neighborhood of, like, say, for example, something in the vicinity of maybe she’ll apologize generically for: ‘Anything I may have done that may have appeared inappropriate.’”
