producer Nigel Lythgoe says Corey Clark is “lying”; says “I like conflict.”
American Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe says the contestants know he “like[s] conflict,” but he says that finalist Corey Clark was “lying” when Corey said that producers forced him to read an apology, and said they “knew about his arrest record all along and used it to boot him to add some drama.” Lithgoe also tells The Tennessean that he hasn’t used any of the footage of conflict between the finalists in their mansion, even though it apparently includes references to a love triangle between three finalists.
