American Idol 2

FOX says if voting problems, “producers have the final say”; Josh leaves.

FOX says if voting problems, “producers have the final say”; Josh leaves.
While denying that American Idol 2’s results were in any way fixed, FOX spokesperson Scott Grogin said that “producers have the final say” in the event of “a dispute about voting results,” the Charlotte Observer reports. However, Grogin said “[t]here has been no reason at this point for there to ever be a voting issue where the producers have had to get involved.” And in USA TODAY, executive producer Nigel Lythgoe says the voting is audited and says “[i]f we were ever caught doing anything like that, we’d lose the entire franchise around the world. It isn’t worth it.”
+also: Josh Gracin received the fewest number of votes this week, making the top three Clay, Kimberly, and Ruben.
