Frenchie “stops traffic” in New York.
Dismissed American Idol 2 finalist Frenchie Davis “literally stops traffic” in New York City, where she’s currently performing in Rent, as “[f]ans of all ages…tell her she was robbed,” The New York Post reports. Frenchie says she’s friends with Ruben but “tell[s] him, ‘You’d have gone home if I stayed in.’” Of her dismissal, she says, “”There was definitely a double standard … If I was a typical, thin hot chick, I wouldn’t have been kicked off the show.” One of her Rent co-stars says “[t]he audience loves her.”
