Corey says producers knew about his arrest, which he didn’t report.
Booted American Idol 2 finalist Corey Clark says “producers knew about his arrest record all along and used it to boot him to add some drama,” according to The Tennessean. The paper also reports that producers “practically scripted what turned out to be [his] farewell interview.” However, Corey admits that he didn’t say he’d been arrested on his application because he thought charges had been dropped.
