Although it turned out to be an hour-long tease, last week’s American Idol 2 “results” show’s 20.3 million viewers easily beat the first half-hour of The Bachelor 3’s 9.9 million viewer debut. Despite an increase in viewers (to 11.5 million) its second half-hour, that placed The Bachelor 3 in 34th place for the week, according to E! Online. Also, Kelly Clarkson’s first single, which she’ll perform on tonight’s show, “was originally slated to appear on [Christina] Aguilera’s “Stripped” album, but it didn’t make the cut and was never finished,” andPOP reports. Kelly and another songwriter finished writing it, and it will appear on her album, which comes out next week.
