Randy, Paula will return along with Simon—and a new fourth judge.
Both Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul will return to judge American Idol 2 along with Simon Cowell—and a mystery fourth judge, which FOX says will “add a different and unique perspective.” Both Simon and host Ryan Seacrest have already signed on for the second season, making Brian Dunkleman the only cast member who won’t return.
