Simon: “people…are over-singing, thinking they can sing like Kelly.”
At the American Idol 2 auditions in Atlanta, Simon Cowell says the judges have been “getting a lot of people who are over-singing, thinking they can sing like Kelly,” the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. But he’s apparently been responding in his usual way, delivering lines such as, “There isn’t a chance in hell you can ever have a career as a singer” and “You were singing well, but I was beginning to doze off.”
