ArchivesAmerican Idol finale begins tonight.
With a pre-show airing on E! and Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight interviewing celebrity guests on the red carpet as they arrive, tonight’s first half of the American Idol finale will be quite a production. The one-hour show begins at 9 p.m. ET, and will feature finalists Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini in a vocal duel. Following the show, viewers will vote; in the UK, more than 90 million voting phone calls were made after the finale of Pop Idol, jamming phone lines. The results will be announced on tomorrow night’s two-hour finale.
