North Carolina PBS station UNC-TV refuses to air American High.
UNC-TV, a PBS affiliate in the Raleigh/Durham area, won’t air American High, in part because of the show’s “explicit content” that would violate the “safe haven” that parents expect from the channel, The News & Observer reports. The station was going to move it to a late time slot on Saturday nights, but didn’t have enough exemption time left to do so under PBS’ rules, so the show won’t air at all.
