Out of the Wild moves to South America for its second (actually third) season
Out of the Wild, the fascinating and entertaining survival series, has been renewed for a third season, and it is leaving Alaska for South America.
The casting notice calls the show Out of the Wild 2, but that ignores its predecessor, The Alaska Experiment, which had a different format. Both series took place in Alaska with winter approaching, though, so this is its first location change.
The new season will be produced in October and November, and applications are due Aug. 26. The application asks for people who “have what it takes to live and thrive in nature’s most brutal environments” and want to “join a band of fellow explorers and trek through some of the harshest climates and roughest terrains in the world.”
