Following the new episode tonight of A&E’s series Airline, which follows passengers and crew of Southwest Airlines, A&E will air an episode of its parent show. The US net has rebranded the show Airline UK so we won’t get confused. A&E’s web site pitches the show like this: “This new documentary series from England looks at the trials and tribulations of the people who work for easyJet, the no-frills airline that’s revolutionized British travel.” Of course, it’s only new to those in the US: ITV’s Airline has aired for eight seasons, starting in January 1999.
