Corey Haim dead of an overdose; starred in A&E series Two Coreys with Corey Feldman
Actor Corey Haim, who starred in 1980s films and a 2007 A&E reality series, “died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday of an apparent accidental overdose, police said,” according to KTLA. He was 38.
Along with his friend Corey Feldman, Haim was part of the quasi-scripted reality series The Two Coreys, which aired two seasons in 2007 and 2008. There was no third season, reportedly because of Haim’s substance abuse problems during production of the series and an appearance in Lost Boys 2: The Tribe. He was confronted about his drug problems during the second season, after which Feldman said he stopped speaking to Haim.
The first season ended with a physical confrontation between the two that didn’t seem entirely authentic; the second season, according to Corey Feldman, was “more real.”. Here’s a scene from it, when the two Coreys argue about events from their past.
