ArchivesTonight, MTV gives Tila Tequila her second chance at reality TV love when it debuts A Shot of Love 2 at 10 p.m. ET.
The show is essentially identical to the first season, with 15 straight men and 15 lesbians competing over the bisexual Tila. MTV says season two “pits men against women” and there’s “a brand-new house and new rules.”
After her break-up with Bobby Banhart, who said Tila’s fame got in the way of a relationship, Tila blames Bobby’s showbiz aspirations for their breakup. So now, “I just want someone who’s chill. Not so caught up in this lifestyle. Someone who has their own sense of identity, so they don’t confuse it with mine. When I do my job, I want to come home to another world, an escape with someone else, and do something totally different,” she told the New York Daily News.
She also says that because “everyone already knew” that she was bisexual, “I was a lot more guarded and aware of who was there for me and not just trying to be on TV.” Apparently, she’s looking for someone who’s not at all like herself.
