Guy Fieri’s horrifying SUV fight dismissed as “messing around”

Next Food Network Star winner, Guy vs. Rachael star, and Food Network personality Guy Fieri got in a horrifying fight Saturday with the person responsible for his hair. Cue the obvious jokes.

The fight was filmed at the San Francisco International Airport by someone in another vehicle, and shows Guy’s hair stylist, Ariel Ramirez, is crying and screaming “fuck you, you fucking dickhead” as he punches Guy repeatedly through an open SUV door. Guy isn’t really visible except for his foot.

However, that was dismissed by Fieri’s representative, who said that “a bunch of guys were messing around. Things got a little out of hand, but they’re all good now.” Some other anonymous person wrote it off with a nice dose of obnoxious sexist stereotypes: “was just dudes being dudes.” Yeah, testosterone really does lead to so many fights between men who cry while punching and kicking each other through open vehicle doors at the airport.

Meanwhile, the new book From Scratch: Inside the Food Network reveals that “billionaire Steven A. Cohen, whose SAC Capital Advisors is charged with insider trading, paid spiky-haired chef Guy Fieri $100,000 ‘to be his friend for a day.’”

Review: Married at First Sight

Marriage At First Sight

Beyond the headline-grabbing premise, the series has turned out to be a stripped-down, authentic exploration of something very interesting. Read the full review.
