Fall 2013 reality TV debut schedule

The fall television season is almost here, and that means the return of several big broadcast shows, including Survivor, Shark Tank, Dancing with the Stars, and X Factor. At the same time, cable networks continue their now-typical, year-round avalanche of new series, seasons, and episodes, from Top Gear to Top Chef.

So, it’s time for our quarterly, frequently-updated list of officially announced debut dates of both new and returning reality series. Please send updates, additions, and corrections to me any time. For shows that premiered before September, see the summer 2013 schedule.

Times listed are ET/PT; TV networks sometimes change their schedules or repeat episodes, so check your guide or other TV listings. For up-to-date news, analysis, and recaps on more popular shows, click the [news] link.

Eaten Alive

Discovery Channel’s happy family holiday special Eaten Alive aired Sunday, rewarding viewers for their two full hours of viewing by ensuring that they spent quality time in the company of others instead of wasting that time doing something else that might not have been as satisfying, such as buying things that have labels which accurately reflect their contents.
