Mel B will judge NBC’s summer mess America’s Got Talent

Mel B, aka Scary Spice, will join the judging panel of NBC’s America’s Got Talent this summer, sitting alongside Howie Mandel and Howard Stern, who announced he’d return late last year.

Mel B previously judged The X Factor in Australia, competed on the US’ Dancing with the Stars, and hosted Australia’s version of the dance competition. And she’s a “versatile entertainer,” as a glowing press release points out.

Alas, that experience won’t change the fact that AGT is increasingly a crappy show, wasting its judges’ talent and its audience’s time–never mind pulling nonsense like casting an act that almost won an earlier season without ever acknowledging that.

Surprisingly, man not eaten alive on Eaten Alive

Eaten Alive

Discovery Channel’s happy family holiday special Eaten Alive aired Sunday, rewarding viewers for their two full hours of viewing by ensuring that they spent quality time in the company of others instead of wasting that time doing something else that might not have been as satisfying, such as buying things that have labels which accurately reflect their contents.
