Winter 2013 reality TV debut schedule

That feeling in the air is the holiday magic of a couple weeks with virtually no new TV shows episodes. It’s the one lull in the year, now that reality TV has replaced reruns in the summer. But never fear: the new year will bring an onslaught of new and returning reality shows, which are listed below, along with those that kicked off their runs in December.

This frequently-updated list of officially announced debut dates includes new and returning reality series. Please send updates, additions, and corrections to me any time. For shows that premiered before December, see the fall 2012 schedule.

Times listed are ET/PT; because TV networks sometimes change their schedules or repeat episodes, so check your guide or other TV listings. For up-to-date news, analysis, and recaps on more popular shows, click the [news] link that follows it.

Surprisingly, man not eaten alive on Eaten Alive

Eaten Alive

Discovery Channel’s happy family holiday special Eaten Alive aired Sunday, rewarding viewers for their two full hours of viewing by ensuring that they spent quality time in the company of others instead of wasting that time doing something else that might not have been as satisfying, such as buying things that have labels which accurately reflect their contents.
