Real Housewives of Disney: SNL parodies Bravo’s franchise

Parodies of The Real Housewives are hard to pull off, since the show is basically parody by itself. 30 Rock tried last year and had some amazing moments–“My single, ‘My Single Is Dropping,” is dropping”–but couldn’t quite be as funny as the show usually is.

This weekend, Saturday Night Live and guest host Lindsay Lohan gave it a shot with The Real Housewives of Disney, featuring Disney princesses. Since SNL went with an extended trailer, not a 22-minute episode, it was more consistently funny, though perhaps not as absurd. Watch:
