Teen Mom dropping Maci, Amber, Farrah, Catelynn after season four

The cast of 16 and Pregnant that went on to star in the original Teen Mom won’t be featured after the fourth season of their new show, which will likely air this summer. A third version of Teen Mom with a brand-new cast is also forthcoming.

MTV told Us Weekly that Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood, Farrah Abraham and Catelynn Lowell “will continue to be a part of our MTV family, and we’re thankful to these brave young women for sharing their stories and helping to make a positive impact on teen pregnancy prevention.”

The shows have had an impact on baby names and helped to lower teen births.
