Simon Cowell desperately tries to get us to care about X Factor 2 by calling it “a bloodbath”

During the holidays, Simon Cowell already started to hype The X Factor 2, calling next season “a bloodbath” even though it’s months away and hasn’t done much more than begin casting.

“Next year will be a bloodbath. We have to come out with something better than the rest, and that’s what we aim to do,” he told People in a Dec. 27 story. But wasn’t that what they aimed to do this fall, and, you know, failed?
