President Obama doesn’t like that his daughters watch the Kardashians

The scourge known as Keeping up with the Kardashians, which Ryan Seacrest is responsible for unleashing into the world, has reached as high up as the White House, where the Obamas daughters watch the show. That doesn’t thrill Barack Obama, but Michelle Obama has a more pragmatic approach: she’s okay as long as her daughters realize that what they’re watching is awful.

“Barack really thinks some of the Kardashians — when they watch that stuff — he doesn’t like that as much,” Michelle told a group of online reporters, according to iVillage. However, she added, “I sort of feel like if we’re talking about it, and I’m more concerned with how they take it in — what did you learn when you watched that. And if they’re learning the right lessons, like, that was crazy, then I’m like, okay.”
