Survivor 23, 24 applications due Tuesday

Applications for Survivor‘s 23rd and 24th season are due on Tuesday, and these are the real applications, not the online casting competition that gave us Jimmy T. and is designed to generate pageviews for CBS.com.

The application says that both seasons will tape “in summer to fall of 2011,” which is consistent with the new production schedule that started with Samoa: back-to-back productions in the same location, with one of the two seasons taking on a twist.

If you want to know what kind of contract you’ll have to sign if you make it to finals in Los Angeles, read the cast contract. And if you’re wondering where you might be heading, Caramoan, in the Philippines, is the rumored location.

Surprisingly, man not eaten alive on Eaten Alive

Eaten Alive

Discovery Channel’s happy family holiday special Eaten Alive aired Sunday, rewarding viewers for their two full hours of viewing by ensuring that they spent quality time in the company of others instead of wasting that time doing something else that might not have been as satisfying, such as buying things that have labels which accurately reflect their contents.
