The Amazing Race 2 is coming to DVD

Only two seasons of The Amazing Race have been released on DVD, seasons one and seven, but that may soon change, as the second season of the show has been listed on Amazon.

TV Shows on DVD reports that while there is not even a pre-order available right now, “it likely is” coming soon “since the listing shows a running time (569 minutes), a studio-provided description (quoted just below), and package art which is not loaded by a customer (displayed at the bottom). That’s looks pretty good to us!” You can be notified when it’s available.

The DVD will be produced by the same on-demand process that has given us additional seasons of Survivor on DVD, so perhaps this means even more seasons of Amazing Race will come soon.

NBC's super-fun December a capella singing competition The Sing-Off is returning, but without its star judge, Ben Folds, and only as a two-hour special. Those are really depressing changes for a series that proved itself to be a super-fun show when it returned last December.
