Bachelorette 5 contestant Julien found dead

One of the men featured on Jillian Harris’ season of The Bachelorette has been found dead.

Julien Hug, a 34-year-old restaurateur from San Diego, was eliminated in the second episode of the 2009 series. His body “has been found along a scenic Southern California highway,” and KGTV reported that an autopsy will be conducted today.

KGTV reported earlier that “Julien was on his way to help manage the family’s newest restaurant in Palm Desert, Augusta Modern. [His father] said two days ago his son’s phone went dead while he was driving somewhere on Highway 74 in Riverside County, which was the last time anyone had heard from him.”

Review: Married at First Sight

Marriage At First Sight

In an era of Tinder and Grindr, instant acceptance or dismissal of a potential partner, or instant sex with another body, Married at First Sight offers the thrill of watching strangers deal with the very basics of relationships.

Beyond the headline-grabbing premise, the series has turned out to be a stripped-down, authentic exploration of something very interesting. Read the full review.
