Jennifer Lopez out as new Idol judge because “her demands got out of hand,” report says

Jennifer Lopez, who was reportedly being added as a new judge for American Idol 10, may not be joining the show after all, as a report says her demands were too much for Fox.

“Her demands got out of hand. Fox had just had enough,” an anonymous source told People. The magazine says she “had been closing a deal to be a permanent judge on the show for its upcoming 10th season but the deal fell apart.”

A week ago, Fox would only say that there are no signed contracts with new or returning judges, although Steven Tyler said they made him an offer.
