Melissa Rycroft co-hosting Bachelor Pad spin-off

The Bachelor‘s spiral into MTV territory, its spin-off competition The Bachelor Pad, has just added former contestant Melissa Rycroft as its co-host.

Earlier press releases about the show, which is currently in production and features past contestants competing for $250,000 while living together in a house, said the show would be hosted by Chris Harrison.

Melissa admitted she has no hosting experience. “I’m excited. It’s fun. It’s a brand new experience for me. I’ve never been on that side but I’m anxious. I’m excited and ready to start,” she told People.
