Survivor Nicaragua is the show’s 21st season

As I reported back in February and March, Survivor will film its 21st season in Nicaragua this summer. The official title of the season is Survivor Nicaragua, as was revealed at the end of the live Survivor Heroes vs. Villains finale.

Probst and the preview offered few details, but suggested a big twist is ahead: “something that may surprise them all.” Earlier, Probst said we will see the return of hidden immunity idols but with a Russell-proof twist.

As to the location, he only mentioned the country’s “expansive rainforest” and noted that it’s “a land of impenetrable terrain, smoldering volcanoes, and savage wildlife.” This spring, the Italian celebrity version was filming in the Pearl Cays and housing the crew on Big Corn Island.

Companies that get deals on the show will be followed for this new spin-off.

Also: Before the show began, Shark Barbara Corcoran was cast and then replaced--but then she sent this amazing e-mail and won the job.
