Top Chef DC cast may have been spotted at Whole Foods

Top Chef DC, the show’s seventh season, is currently in production in Washington and the surrounding areas, according to a recent sighting.

The show is using the Whole Foods in Silver Spring, MD, DCist reports, citing a sign that said “Magical Elves Productions (Top Chef’s production company) was taping something called ‘The Mission.'” There have been similar reports on Twitter.

A photo taken there this weekend by DCist’s source shows people shopping and being filmed by multiple camera crews, although the people in the picture aren’t wearing chef’s jackets, which is typical for the show’s contestants.
