Kara DioGuardi naked in Allure “showing people a side of me they never have seen”

May’s issue of Allure magazine, which will be on sale next Tuesday, includes a photo of second-year American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi naked.

The nude photo isn’t explicit, but shows the side of her breast. A less-cropped version of the photo is slightly more revealing, because she’s holding her leg up in the air.

In the magazine, Kara says, “This shoot was less about beauty than about taking a risk and showing people a side of me they never have seen.” Referring to when she was in her early 20s and had an eating disorder, she said, “Back then I was a size 6 or 8; now I’m more like a size 2. Food is not what I use to anesthetize myself anymore.”
