Jersey Shore cast reenacts scenes from Oscar-nominated movies

The cast of Jersey Shore has been busy proving they are not actors by reenacting scenes from Oscar-nominated movies on TBS’ Lopez Tonight this week.

Among the scenes are Snooki as Brad Pitt in Inglorious Basters, Vinny in Inglorious Basterds, and Pauly D in Avatar, who does the best acting, perhaps because he’s on-screen for only a few seconds and does nothing except a hand gesture.

But my favorite is this scene from The Hurt Locker–a film that actually stars a former reality star who can act quite well, It Factor’s Jeremy Renner, who’s been nominated for the best actor Academy Award for his work. Anyway, the Jersey Shore version works best because Ronnie, Pauly D, and The Situation all make fun of themselves.

Surprisingly, man not eaten alive on Eaten Alive

Eaten Alive

Discovery Channel’s happy family holiday special Eaten Alive aired Sunday, rewarding viewers for their two full hours of viewing by ensuring that they spent quality time in the company of others instead of wasting that time doing something else that might not have been as satisfying, such as buying things that have labels which accurately reflect their contents.
