Brooke Burke replacing Samantha Harris as Dancing with the Stars co-host

Dancing with the Stars‘ seventh-season winner Brooke Burke will return to the show as its new co-host, replacing Samantha Harris, who quit to babble incoherently elsewhere.

Brooke hosted CBS’ two seasons of Rock Star and, earlier, E!’s Wild On; she confirmed she was auditioning a few weeks ago. Like most of us, she didn’t show up for the announcement on Good Morning America today because she’s on vacation. In other words, she’s already doing a better job than Samantha.
