Men will perform tonight because of Crystal Bowersox’s illness

The remaining male American Idol 9 semi-finalists will perform tonight instead of tomorrow night because one of the women is sick.

Fox announced that “Due to medical issues which would prevent Crystal Bowersox from performing tonight, the 10 male semifinalists will perform this evening, and the 10 female semifinalists will perform tomorrow night.” There were no further details, and no one seems to know what’s wrong with her or why it’ll be better tomorrow night, or why this merits a change when previous illnesses have not.

With lackluster performances last week, it should be interesting to see how this last-minute change affects the men, and how an extra day affects the women.
