Pam Anderson on DWTS, while Kate Gosselin, Evan Lysacek, Greg Louganis all want to dance

Dancing with the Stars 10‘s cast will officially be announced Monday during the finale of The Bachelor, but already we have one confirmed cast member: Pamela Anderson. Pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy told InTouch, “They did an amazing job keeping everything a secret this time, but we know that Pam is on.”

Both Maksim and his ex Karina Smirnoff will return as pros, he said, and Derek Hough confirmed he’s returning, as did Cheryl Burke’s Twitter writer. Out are Lacey Schwimmer and Jonathan Roberts, who tweeted about not being cast this season.

As to other possible contenders, probably the biggest is Paula Abdul. A lot of people have expressed interest in the show, and The New York Daily News runs down those reports: Kate Gosselin, Evan Lysacek, Greg Louganis, and Kevin Federline.

Of course, saying you’re interested is just a desperate attempt to be cast, which would suggest that they’re not going to be.
