Idol 8 finalists will tour 50 cities this summer

American Idol 8‘s summer tour dates were announced today, and the 10 finalists will visit 50 cities over two and a half months. That’s one more city than last year but still fewer than season six’s 56 cities.

The tour starts July 5 in Oregon and ends Sept. 15 in New Hampshire, and tickets go on sale for all dates May 9. There are two stops in Canada: Vancouver on July 8 and Hamilton, Ontario, on Aug. 14.

Those touring are Kris Allen, Anoop Desai, Matt Giraud, Danny Gokey, Allison Iraheta, Megan Joy, Adam Lambert, Scott MacIntyre, Lil Rounds, and Michael Sarver. The other three finalists, Alexis Grace, Jasmine Murray, and Jorge Nunez, will have to do their karaoke in bars.

Eaten Alive

Discovery Channel’s happy family holiday special Eaten Alive aired Sunday, rewarding viewers for their two full hours of viewing by ensuring that they spent quality time in the company of others instead of wasting that time doing something else that might not have been as satisfying, such as buying things that have labels which accurately reflect their contents.
