Winter 2008/2009 reality TV schedule

It’s the first day of December, and just as the year has almost evaporated, most fall shows are winding down or have already concluded. And that means it’s time for a new group of reality series to take their place. A few, like Top Chef 5, kicked off late last month or in the fall, but starting tomorrow night, there’s a brief deluge of new shows that will try to find footings until American Idol hauls its mammoth ass front and center in mid-January.

Below is a chronological list of announced debut dates and regular air times for winter debuts, and after that is a list of announced or renewed shows that don’t yet have specific air dates. This list is updated frequently, so bookmark it and return often to keep up; feel free to link to this, but not to steal it, like some rat bastards do.

Times listed are ET, although as always, networks sometimes change their week-to-week schedules. For up-to-date news on more popular shows, click the [news] link that follows it.

Surprisingly, man not eaten alive on Eaten Alive

Eaten Alive

Discovery Channel’s happy family holiday special Eaten Alive aired Sunday, rewarding viewers for their two full hours of viewing by ensuring that they spent quality time in the company of others instead of wasting that time doing something else that might not have been as satisfying, such as buying things that have labels which accurately reflect their contents.
