Dancing with the Stars recap will replace Opportunity Knocks

The first new fall TV show to be cancelled is ABC’s hybrid game/reality show Opportunity Knocks, and ABC plans to replace it with a condensed repeat of the Monday night live Dancing with the Stars 7 performance show.

On Tuesday nights at 8, “ABC will air cut-down, hourlong ‘Dancing With the Stars’ recap episodes, leading into the night’s live results show, starting next Tuesday,” Variety reports.

As to Opportunity Knocks, it averaged just 6.3 million viewers a week, but Variety says “ABC will hold on to the six remaining episodes and plans to air them at a later date.”
