Sharon Osbourne officially replaces Brandy as America’s Got Talent 2 judge

NBC confirmed yesterday what has been rumored since last Month: Sharon Osbourne will replace Brandy as a judge on America’s Got Talent 2.

Neither network VP Craig Plestis nor the press release mention that Brandy has basically been fired. “Sharon Osbourne is show business personified and she has seen and done it all. She will make an excellent fit with David and Piers, who we’re delighted to have back for another great season,” Plestis said.

David Hasselhoff and Piers Morgan also return to judge the talent competition, which returns May 29. Jerry Springer will host, replacing Regis Philbin.
