Top Model 8 will reportedly feature bigger but not plus-sized models

Next season’s Top Model cast will be a bit bigger than normal: not in numbers, but in size.

An unsourced report on TMZ.com says that “the girls would definitely not be labeled as plus-sized, insiders say they’re far from the stick figures we’re used to seeing on the runway.” The site also reports that “the girls are said to be some of the most humble and grateful girls the show has ever seen.”

TMZ’s report cites only “insiders,” and actually uses the word “peeps” non-ironically, so its veracity isn’t guarunteed. However, production on the eighth cycle began last week, so the crew and others have seen the new models.
