Flavor rejects New York, freeing her to star in spin-off series Flavorette

Flavor Flav ended the second season of Flavor of Love the same way he ended the first season, sending New York home and selecting the other woman. In this case, her name was Deelishis, aka London Charles.

Conveniently, that frees New York up to star in the previously announced, female-centered spin-off series, which will be called Flavorette. “Tiffany Patterson, 24, is in the final weeks of filming the over-the-top “Bachelorette”-style show in which 20 single guys try to win her heart,” according to The New York Post.

She says the men seeking her attention are “worse than the women who were on season one and season two [of 'Flavor of Love']. This show is so chaotic, it’s overboard, it’s over-the-top, it’s extreme and these guys know they’re fighting for a wonderful woman so they’ve been at each other’s throats and I’m flattered by it. I can’t complain.” But that’s okay with her; she tells the paper, “I like it when the guys go at each other. I’m a prize, I’m so worth it — frankly, it turns me on.”

No debut date for Flavorette has been scheduled yet.

New York’s starring role is good news for at least one person who e.mailed me and, in part of the message, seems to think that I am actually New York. VH1 will be thrilled to know that even if their caps lock keys are broken, New York has hysterical fans :

I THINK FLAVA IS JUST ANOTHER TYPICAL ANAL DOG AND NEW YORK DESERVES A REAL MAN ANYWAYS. FLAV LOOKS LIKE A ROACH AND DELICIOUS LOOKS LIKE A PIT BULL SO THEY DESERVE EACH OTHER. HE WAS WRONG FOR BRINGING NEW YORK BACK IF HE WAS ONLY GOING HUMULIATE HER AND BREAK HER HEART AGAIN. SHE WAS TRUE AND HE REALLY MESSED UP. NEW YORK WAS RIGHT, SHE DOES DESERVE SOMEONE THAT IS GOING TO LOVE HER FOR HER AND THAT PERSON IS NOT FLAV. ACTUALLY FLAV DID NEW YORK A FAVOR BY NOT CHOOSING HER AND ALLOWING HER TO FIND A REAL MAN, SOMETHING THAT HE IS NOT AND PROBALY NEVER WILL BE. PLUS HE HAS 6 KIDS AND 2 GRANDKIDS. THAT TELLS YOU A WHOLE LOT ABOUT HIS CHARACTER RIGHT THERE AND THEY PROBALY ARENT ALL BY THE SAME WOMAN. I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK NEW YORK AND REMEMBER ALWAYS THAT YOU ALREADY HAVE THE BEST LOVE OF YOUR LIFE STANDING BESIDE YOU EACH AND EVERY DAY AND HIS NAME IS “GOD”. BE BLESSED NEW YORK AND KEEP YOUR FAITH GIRL AND GOD WILL BLESS YOU WITH THE MAN THAT WILL LOVE YOU THE WAY YOU DESERVE.
