The Apprentice 5 concludes live tonight

The Apprentice 5 ends its mostly forgettable run tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET with a 90-minute finale. That’s about 65 minutes too long, but at least it’s not another three-hour Regis Philbin-hosted monstrosity.

The final two are youngin’ Lee and Brit Sean, and Donald Trump will make his decision with the help of the audience. Or, you know, not.

For their final tasks, Sean is working on a # Barenaked Ladies benefit concert with the help of Andrea, Tammy, and Tarek, while Lee is putting on a celebrity hockey game (also for charity) with the help of Lee, Roxanne, and Pepi, the man who caused Carolyn to burst into laughter last week because neither she nor Trump could remember who he was.

Beyond the headline-grabbing premise, the series has turned out to be a stripped-down, authentic exploration of something very interesting. Read the full review.
