CBS pulls Tuesday Night Book Club

CBS’ first foray into an MTV-style docudrama, Tuesday Night Book Club, has been pulled from the schedule after two weeks.

According to the futon critic, the show is gone “for at least two weeks” according to “scheduling updates released by the network.” However, “It’s not clear if ‘Book Club’ will return on July 11, the same night ‘Big Brother’ and ‘Rock Star’ launch their Tuesday editions this season.”

The show’s first episode was watched by 5.07 million viewers, and it lost about a million of those for episode two, which was watched by 4.13 million, the site reports.
