Will Young voted most popular British artist ever, beating Robbie Williams, The Beatles

More than four years ago, Will Young won the UK’s Pop Idol, but he’s still incredibly popular. He was just “voted the most popular UK artist of all time in a poll of radio listeners,” according to the Mirror.

Robbie Williams came in second, followed by Paul McCartney, The Spice Girls, and Coldplay. According to the paper, “The Beatles were a lowly 34th and the Rolling Stones did not even make it on to the list of the top 40 artists.” Pink Floyd placed 11th

Will Young said, “What makes it so special is that it’s voted for by the public. Thanks to everyone who voted. I’m over the moon.”
