Fear Factor will return in June

After unceremoniously pulling the show from the schedule in February, NBC will bring Fear Factor back this summer, at least for a short while.

The show returns June 6, airing Tuesdays at 8, the same timeslot that it moved to last December, the futon critic reports. The site says these are “the final episodes of the series,” and adds that they “will serve as a lead-in to” Last Comic Standing 4.

NBC’s web site for the show has been updated with the return date, but links to the casting page no longer work, which seems to support reports that the show has been cancelled.

Ben Folds
