Bachelor 9 will be filmed in Hawaii

The Bachelor 9‘s casting call promised would-be bachelors that they’d be searching for their future ex in “an exotic, tropical location.” That location, reality blurred has learned from a source close to the production, is Hawaii.

The show will be joining other reality shows that have filmed there, such as Celebrity Mole Hawaii, Average Joe 2, and The Real World Hawaii. The location is not a big surprise, since there are few stereotypically romantic tropical locations to choose from. Other possibilities may have been places such as Jamaica or the Bahamas, or, since this is ABC, maybe the Everglades.

The show will film starting at the beginning of May and continue until the end of the month.
