Talan and Kimberly Stewart are engaged

Laguna Beach star Talan Torriero, 19, and Rod Stewart’s daughter Kimberly, 26, are engaged. Stewart, who Paris Hilton once suggested would replace Nicole Richie on The Simple Life, has been dating Talan for two months.

Talan’s publicist (he has a publicist?) confirmed their engagmenet to People magazine. Last night, the magazine reports, the couple “showed up at an XBox 360 party at a private home in Beverly Hills, where Stewart showed off her 5-carat diamond Neil Lane engagement ring to buddies Paris and Nicky Hilton.”

A friend of Talan’s told the magazine, “He told me he really likes her and they’re having a good time.” No wonder they got engaged: he really likes her.
