Contender rematch between Sergio and Peter will air in October

Peter “The Pride of Providence” Manfredo Jr. will once again try to defeat Sergio “The Latin Snake” Mora when the two enter the ring in October as part of a special ESPN event. That fight will be supported by undercard fights between “other fighters from the first season,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. That seems to contradict an earlier report that Alfonso Gomez would face off against Manfredo, who likely won’t be fighting twice in the same night.

The rematch airs Oct. 15, and will be live, meaning no fun sound effects or slow-motion punches. The series will return in April on ESPN.

Eaten Alive

Discovery Channel’s happy family holiday special Eaten Alive aired Sunday, rewarding viewers for their two full hours of viewing by ensuring that they spent quality time in the company of others instead of wasting that time doing something else that might not have been as satisfying, such as buying things that have labels which accurately reflect their contents.
