Burnett argues Martha’s ankle bracelet should come off for her Apprentice tapings.
Now that Martha Stewart is out of prison, she’s wearing an ankle bracelet as part of her home confinement, which lasts for five months. She’s seeking a new sentence, however, asking, in part, that her ankle bracelet be removed so she can tape The Apprentice: Martha Stewart. Producer Mark Burnett told the court, “The bracelet will hinder the continuity of the day-to-day shooting and eliminate any opportunity for Martha to wear skirts or dresses, which is part of her lifestyle and therefore a large part of the show.”
