Simon says American Idol 4 is Bo Bice’s “to lose”; judges dismiss airtime complaints.
On Monday’s episode of American Idol 4, the judges told the contestants to stop their whining about both lack of airtime and song choice. Simon Cowell, according to Craig Berman’s wrap-up of the episode, said the former is “a ridiculous excuse. The audience isn’t stupid at home. They vote for people who they think can sing.” And Randy addressed the later, noting that “you didn’t hear Kelly, Ruben, Clay or Fantasia complain about their song choices.” After they were done parenting, Simon said that Bo Bice is the frontrunner. “I think it’s your competition to lose,” Simon told Bo.
