Germaine Greer quits celeb Big Brother.
After about five days in the new UK celebrity Big Brother house, Germaine Greer left, citing problems with her fellow cast members’ motives. In the diary room, she said, “I was a little naïve. I didn’t realise agendas. Caprice is here to raise awareness of her lingerie. Brigitte is a professional reality TV person. Kenzie wants to raise the profile of his band. John probably needs the money. I had no idea who would be in here and it’s wrong for me to present myself in the same context as they are.” The BBC reports that she “earlier failed to persuade other contestants to stage a naked protest.” The house won’t be down a member because just recently, Sylvester Stallone’s mother joined the cast; she’s also Brigitte Nielsen’s ex-mother-in-law.
